I think the pharmaceutical companies should shoulder most of the blame for a distrust of medicine. at least in the U.S. we have drugs for every minor little discomfort that is part of the human experience and the side effects are worse than symptoms ur treating. when doctors are being bought by pharm co.and freely write scripts for things diet and exercise could remedy... it’s hard for me to find fault with Richard Dawkins but he seems to be scapegoating alternative medicine. It scares me for the cancer patients that need to cure the cancers, need to detoxify, get rid of acidity, or remove excess estrogens etc.... or stop milk or foods that maybe inducing cancer... Jane Plant reccomends removing milk after it removed her tumour, but energy medicine is harder to prove. I have found kinesiology to work BUT I do not know about this atlantis stuff. His faith in science is so strong that it blinds him to it's shortcomings. He defends conventional scientific Medicine without acknowledging that science still can't explain many aspects of human biology. He takes the most extreme example of alternative medicine and uses it to discredit/ridicule all alternative medicine .
